Some of the electives you may want to consider are advanced placement courses, college level courses, and the Academy Program that has special interest options in the areas of law, finance, human services, and technology.

About the Program Planning Guide
The purpose of the Pine Bush High School Program Planning Guide is to provide a road map to a successful high school experience. The district offers many paths to success. Students are encouraged to choose the best path for themselves and evaluate that path each year.
This planning guide outlines three aspects of the high school program:
- An explanation of graduation requirements as specified by the New York State Board of Regents for local, Regents, and Advanced Regents Diplomas.
- Answers to commonly asked questions regarding various aspects of the high school program.
- A list and description of courses offered by each department.
Cooperation among parents, students and staff is important when selecting a program of study that meets the educational needs of each student. The Pine Bush High School staff will provide assistance to you in developing your program and will assist in the decision-making and problem-solving process.
