Pine Bush welcomed 50 brand new teachers and counselors to the district to begin the 2021-2022 school year!
New staff orientation took place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, with a welcome breakfast and introduction of the administrators and board of education members by Superintendent Tim Mains.
They heard from various departments in the district – Pine Bush Teachers Association, Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits and the Technology Department – for an overview.
After a busy morning, they headed to lunch where Executive Director of Human Resources, Data and School Counseling Angela Wise-Landman held random drawings for some additional teacher swag.
The day was capped off with the traditional bus tour of the district, with Crispell Middle School Principal John Boyle as the very capable, knowledgeable tour guide. The tour departed from the high school and stopped at all six other schools in the district. The teachers were met with cheering, enthusiastic staff members, welcoming them to the district.
Teachers are in Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 30 and 31, for conference days in their respective schools. Opening day is Wednesday, Sept. 1. It’s go time Pine Bush!
