Girls and Boys Youth Basketball

 

Grades 2-8

Instructor: Dustin VanLieu

Learn and improve your basketball skills, including footwork, dribbling, finishing and overall basketball IQ. Sessions will include skills, drills, games and competition.

Equipment needed: basketball, athletic wear, indoor sneakers.

Introduction to Boys and Girls Lacrosse

Grades 1-6

Instructor: John Pastormerlo

This class is for students interested in lacrosse but have never played lacrosse and want to try this exciting, fast paced sport. Classes will teach lacrosse fundamentals and teamwork in a fun, relaxed environment. No equipment required! We will supply each registered player with a lacrosse stick that is theirs to keep. (8 weeks)

Boys and Girls Youth Wrestling

Grades 2-8

Instructor: Patrick Sause

One season of wrestling can help anyone build self-confidence, mental toughness, physical fitness, discipline, body awareness, and coordination. In class, students will learn fundamental moves, advanced techniques, and strategies, along with the importance of sportsmanship. We thoroughly cover the proper rules, positions, procedures and scoring. Varsity and JV wrestlers will assist the coaches.

CHALLENGE you to use your knowledge, cognitive and technical skills while creating and playing with fun LEGO models!

S.T.E.M. and Robotics Club

STEM concepts and creativity are combined together in this action-packed program where kids learn real-life skills while having real-kid FUN! Kids will be engaged in project based learning using STEM activities and DASH & DOT Robots that are smart to respond to voices and sound and can be programmed to sing and dance. Kids will be encouraged to design, build and program their creations embedding creativity, critical thinking, collaboration
and communications! (6 weeks)

This class will teach you breath control, audition tips, how to choose your songs, acting for singers and high note hacks. I will teach you how to practice projection and how to protect your gorgeous voice and magnify your unique sound. Gain confidence and stage presence.

Chair Dance Exercise

This class is suitable for all ages and all fitness levels, come join us in this low impact form of workout using a chair. Focus on your core without the harsh impact on your knees, exercise using dance movements, by incorporating all parts of your body. (8 weeks)

5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course

The NYS Department of Motor Vehicles mandates this course for all NYS permit holders. Students must pre-register and include a copy of their photo
learner permit with registration. Upon course completion, the MV-278 certificate will be mailed to the address on the permit. This certificate is required to schedule a road test appointment.  This course is a two-day class.

Latin Dancing

Do you enjoy dancing?  Come join us in learning the exotic dancing of Salsa, Merengue and Bachata. Learn these fascinating dances and allow yourself to express yourself through your movement. Partner or not, Latin dancing is a great activity to learn at any age, so put on your dancing shoes and come shake your hips.

Stability Ball Workout

This class is customized to help you improve all-over flexibility, core strength, posture, balance, and coordination with the stability ball. Incorporating the hand weights to our routine we develop strength, toning and muscle. A stability ball workout will make things more interesting and effective by engaging different muscles. Equipment needed for this class: inflated 65 cm stability ball, hand weights and mat.

Body Sculpting

Grab your hand weights, your mat and your focus for this total body workout led by Gillian. This entire routine allows you to burn, tone, firm up or trim down. Work your way, at your pace, and strength, with this 60-minute workout using your bodyweight and dumbbells. Your metabolism will be revved up while you burn major calories! Open to all ages, fitness levels, and genders.
