Our eighth-grade students and their families and friends at Circleville Middle School enjoyed a beautiful moving-up day, celebrating their accomplishments as they look forward to moving on to high school.
Valedictorian Mahek Multani and salutatorian Ethan Vasquez gave memorable speeches about their time here at CVMS, thanking their teachers and parents and wishing their friends and classmates the best at Pine Bush High School.
Many awards were given out in individual subjects, as well as some special awards. Khalif Brown and Kate Doti received the Triple “C” Award, recognizing the courage, character, and commitment of New York State’s outstanding students.
Julia Tanner and Kyle O’Brien received the New York State Comptroller’s Award, which is awarded to students who have shown academic excellence and the potential for leadership through involvement in activities that improve their school and/or their community.
Finally, the Principal’s Awards went to Kaylin Wyble, Jessica Mann, JT Crawford and Timothy Bernard.
And now they are looking forward to attending Pine Bush High School! Congratulations to all!
