A hearty welcome to Pine Bush!

The district held new staff orientation on Monday, Aug. 22, with 49 new teachers, counselors and school resource personnel (SRPs) in attendance.

A group of men and women sit in blue seats in an auditorium. There is a woman in front talking to them with blonde hair and yellow jacket.

These new Pine Bush employees met district administrators and district office personnel. They learned about the direction of the district, its mission and vision. They met with Superintendent Brian Dunn, who is new to the district himself. He welcomed them and thanked them for being part of our district.

The new employees shared lunch with their building administrators and heard from their union representatives. They discussed strategies for working with students with disabilities and English language learners as well as accessing technology tools.

Finally, they all boarded school buses and took a tour of the district, guided by Crispell Middle School Principal John Boyle. It’s a tradition everyone enjoys. It’s always a fun tour with Mr. Boyle!

All will be back on Aug. 30 and 31 for superintendent’s conference days and then the first day of school on Sept. 1. We are all looking forward to a great school year! Welcome to PB. We are so happy you are here.
