So many books to choose from at the book fair

The book fair is something to look forward to for elementary students. Last week, Circleville Elementary School PTA hosted the Scholastic Book Fair, to the delight of the students.

Three elementary students look at books on a table. The girl in the center, wearing glasses with her brown hair pulled back in a ponytail, holds two books in her hands, and is talking to the girl next to her who is wearing a green sweater and has her dark hair pulled back into a ponytail. There is another student on the other side of the girl in the middle.

The gym was transformed into a library, with book shelves on every wall and down the center of the floor. There were so many wonderful books to choose from and even a table of free books for all students.

Two elementary age boys sit on a floor and look through the books they just bought.

Children love to choose their own books. Allowing them the opportunity to buy their own books and build their library at home encourages them to read more! Reading more helps expand vocabulary and improve comprehension. It’s a total win!

A girl sits cross-legged on the floor. She is opening a book she just bought. She is smiling broadly, wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans, a yellow bracelet and her hair is braided with pink beads in it. There is a boy behind her reading his book.

Two elementary age girls sit on the floor looking at a small book the girl on the left bought. She has long dark hair and is wearing a green plaid shirt. She is holding up the book and talking to the girl on the right, who is wearing a green dress and a white sweater.
