Prized pancakes for PBE classes that donated the most to the food pantry

Students in Andrea Gennaro and Amy Green’s classes at PBE had a wonderful treat recently, thanks to their own generosity and that of our local IHOP owners, Raven and Fran Atria.  The Atrias rewarded the two classes that brought in the most food items during the Thanksgiving food drive – one class in kindergarten to grade two and one in grades three to five. The two classes with the highest number of donations celebrated with pancakes!

Students in Ms. Gennaro’s class brought in 259 items while kids in Ms. Green’s class brought in a whopping 331 items!

The pancakes were absolutely delicious, with enough for everyone to have seconds!

Anyone in the community requiring help should contact Pine Bush High School social worker Katie Carson-Decker at kathryn.carson-decker@pinebushschools.org.
