The Class of 2023 Top 30 honor their most memorable teachers

Each year, the top 30 students of the Pine Bush High School graduating class have the opportunity to honor the teacher who has made a distinct difference in their lives here in Pine Bush.

A group of 27 high school seniors, all dressed up, stand on the stairs in a library.

Two men stand together with the man on the right with his arm around the young man on the left. The high school senior on the left has a blue polo shirt on. He has short brown hair. The man on the right has a plaid shirt on, has short sandy hair. Both are smiling.

The Pine Bush High School class of 2023 top graduates shared their reasons why they chose a particular teacher. It was for the inspiration over the years. It was for cultivating a love in a particular subject and believing in them. It was for opening their minds to something new. It was for their patience and the fact they never gave up on them. It was for providing a safe place to learn and talk and confide. It was for kindness and understanding. It was for giving – good counsel, encouragement, knowledge, laughter, a helping hand, time.

A woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, wearing a denim jacket smiles. A high school senior with long reddish hair, wearing a denim jacket. She is holding yellow flowers. Both are smiling and have their arms around each other.

Four people stand togtether. A man on the right, with glasses wearing a black shirt, a woman next to him with short dark hair wearing a print skirt and white shirt, a woman wearing a black shirt and black print pants, and a high school senior wearing a black shirt and printed skirt. All are smiling.

Soon, our 2023 graduating class will go out into the world with all the gifts received from all their teachers. We are Pine Bush proud!

Four adults. A man on the left in a blue shirt, woman next to him with long blonde hair wearing a peach shirt and navy checked jacket, a high school senior with short curly dark hair, long sleeve button-down shirt, and a man on the right in a green jacket and shirt. He is holding a small book. All are smiling.
