The Pine Bush Central School District is proud to be dedicating its newly built Alumni Field on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 5 p.m. The community is invited to attend.
Immediately following the dedication and ribbon cutting, our girls varsity soccer team takes on Warwick for the first competition on the new field.
The synthetic field, which is located behind Pine Bush High School, is lined for field hockey, football, lacrosse and soccer. Our physical education classes will utilize it throughout the year, and our high school teams will use it for games and practices. There are bleachers for seating as well as lighting for night games.
“We felt it was fitting to name the field in honor of all those who have graduated from Pine Bush High School,” said Superintendent Brian Dunn.
Save the Date – Oct. 27
We also want you to save the date – Oct. 27 – when the district rededicates the Thomas F. Lonergan Field, just before the football homecoming game.
Our new main athletic field will be complete earlier in October. The district chose the football homecoming date to rededicate the field in order to include our entire community.
“We want to celebrate the official opening and rededication of the Thomas F. Lonergan Field with our entire Pine Bush community at the homecoming football game, which is a wonderful community event,” said Mr. Dunn. “We are thrilled to have such an amazing facility for our students and want to share that pride with all of you.”
