Science is so much fun! Especially when it’s interactive and has that “wow” factor.
Circleville Elementary School kindergarten, first and second grade students had a visit from Mad Science’s Brainstorm Brian, who brought a mobile science lab to the school. The students – and their parents – loved it.
Brainstorm Brian displayed some terrific demonstrations and experiments, making the whole evening an interactive event. He explained chemical reactions that were going on, for example when he added dry ice to a colored liquid that then changed to another color. He also explained that some of the materials he used are also used to carbonate soda!
The event was sponsored by the CVES PTA to encourage the students’
interest in science. The group also had the community in mind, asking for non-perishable food items to help restock the school’s food pantry.
