Congratulations to Robin Conklin, Circleville Elementary School fifth-grade teacher extraordinaire! Ms. Conklin was honored with a teacher of excellence award by the Mid-Hudson School Study Council (MHSSC) at a reception at North Rockland. Ms. Conklin is known by her administrators, colleagues, students and their parents as a selfless, kind and dedicated teacher. She was joined by CES Principal Kristin Slover, Assistant Principal Joe Prestianni, CES fourth-grade teacher Andrea Urmston, Pine Bush High School music teacher Nicholas Ruggeri and Pine Bush Board of Education member Erik Buckley. Ms. Conklin is so deserving of this honor!
Pine Bush Board of Education Vice President Cara Robertson was also honored by the MHSSC for excellence in school board service. Ms. Robertson, who was unable to attend the ceremony, has dedicated a decade to the community and our students with her service on the board and we are so grateful to her.
