There is no greater gift

A big shout out to the First Aid Club at Pine Bush High School. This group of dedicated students organized the blood drive last week and worked out all the details. Volunteers checked in the students who had appointments as well as the students and staff who were ‘walk-ins.’ They manned the snack table, making sure donors were well-hydrated and nourished after their donations.

As is usually the case, there were several first-time donors in the group, all a bit anxious but happy to be donating the gift of life. This drive collected 24 pints of blood, each one saving up to three lives. That’s awesome! Great job First Aid Club!
