Kindergarten students get their hands dirty at the arboretum

Kindergarten students at PBE enjoyed learning about seeds and plants, bees and composting at the Orange County Arboretum.

Students were able to view a beehive up close with a beekeeper while others viewed red composting worms at the composting bins.

In addition to the bees and worms, our students also learned the difference between good and bad bugs and sang a song together!

Before returning back to school, each student planted a tomato plant for home! PBE has some new backyard gardeners!
