Teamwork makes the dream work!
Fourth-graders at Circleville Elementary School worked with school counselor Deana Lenz to do the Pine Bush Spirit Solo Cup Challenge!
Here was the deal – the class was broken into teams of four and five students. They received six cups and one grappler. The cups could only be touched or moved with the grappler – no hands, arms or any other body part could be used. The students had to work as a team to build a pyramid using the six cups. All team members had to play a role in the project.
The students discussed their strategies and came up with their plans. It was definitely more difficult than it looked at first glance. They talked and re-thought their plans. Then, even more cups were added!
They discussed with Ms. Lenz their challenges and successes during the activity. Working as a team on this was beneficial for sure! Having cooperation between teammates was a big plus.
Teamwork and good communication got the task done. Great job!
