The theatrical team from Circleville Elementary School and the Pine Bush High School/Crispell Middle School structure team took first place in their respective divisions Saturday at the Region 5 tournament at Orange-Ulster BOCES. This year’s program also saw four of our teams win second place at regionals.  The technical team, coached by Audrey Ahearn at Pakanasink, and CVMS’s theatrical team, coached by Samantha Petrosi and Rylee Hoornbeck, both took home a second place trophy.  The CES vehicle team, coached by Carri Carbone and Ashley Morris, as well as the PBE classics team, coached by Tisha Foddrill, also took home a second place trophy.

EJR’s structure team, coached by Kaity Judson, placed fifth  in the regional tournament.

Our three Pine Bush High School seniors were called up to the stage by Orange-Ulster BOCES for special recognition.  Congratulations to Erin Bell, Sienna Forbes, and Rylee Hoornbeck!

Ms. Stapleton said it was “an outstanding showing” for our Pine Bush Odyssey of the Mind program, especially since there were six new coaches this year!

“We are so proud of all the kids who wowed the audiences with spectacular performances and really made our district shine,” Ms. Stapleton said. “We look forward to taking that next step at state finals, and ask that you continue to support the program as you so generously have in the past!”
