Our unified bowling team completed its season last week in Kingston at the unified bowling championships. Pine Bush finished right in the middle of the pack in fifth place out of nine teams.
“Unified bowling is a unique varsity sport that allows for the true spirit of athletics to shine through,” said Coach Mike Terwilliger. “Students from all walks of life at Pine Bush High School come together in the spirit of competition and sportsmanship. We visit several other schools not just to compete but to interact with others and develop friendships.”
The team consists of the athletes and student helpers who come to work with our athletes. In the process, they develop great friendships.
Coach Terwilliger sums it up perfectly: “In an unsure world, unified bowling is a beacon of positivity that represents the best of what Pine Bush has to offer.”
Congratulations on a wonderful season and forever friendships made.
