How to apply: To apply for free and reduced price meals for your children, you can file an application online at www.myschoolapps.com or complete a paper application, sign your name and return it. All information is strictly confidential. Call 845-744-2031 ext. 2809 if you need help. If using a paper application, please use one of the following options listed below to return it:

Household Income Forms are available in English  and Spanish.  An application can be provided upon request at (845) 744-2031 ext. 2809 or by emailing caitlin.lazarski@pinebushschools.org.

It’s important to apply

The annual meal application form is one direct measure for Title 1 funding. We ask that all Pine Bush families whose children are not directly certified and have not completed this year’s application, to take a few minutes and complete the process at the  www.myschoolapps.com website, even if you are not receiving meals.

The purpose of this funding is to provide all children the significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable and high-quality education. 

If the application is approved, families may also realize a potential reduction of expenses related to Advance Placement classes, standardized test fees and before- and aftercare school costs.

When your children participate in school meals, you are also providing financial support to our School Nutrition Department, which allows us to continue feeding students, purchasing food and supporting staff wages.

Reapplication: You may apply for benefits any time during the school year. Also, if you are not eligible now but during the school year become unemployed, have a decrease in household income or an increase in family size, you may request and complete an application at that time.

Income Exclusions: The value of any childcare provided or arranged, or any amount received as payment for such childcare or reimbursement for costs incurred for such care under the Child Care Development (Block Grant) Fund should not be considered as income for this program.
