• as well as recognition of  Tenure Recipient  Kelly Wallace.

 

Resignations

Instructional

• Huma Imtiaz, resignation from her position as a 1.0 FTE School Psychologist, effective at the close of business on December 20, 2019. 
• Amy Zupetz, resignation from her position as a 6.0 hours/day Teaching Assistant, effective at the close of business on December 20, 2019.  (ejr/ employed since 09/2012)

 

Non-Instructional

• Barbara Hancock, resignation from her position as a  1.0 FTE Typist-12 Month effective at the close of business August 28, 2020.  

 

Appointments

Administrative

Board approval of the following resolution for adoption:

RESOLVED that, the agreement commencing on July 1, 2019 on file with the District Clerk, between the Board of Education of the Pine Bush Central School District and Ryan Reed (who holds a professional certificate in the SDL-School District Leader) with the title of Executive Director of Human Resources and Data, be approved. Salary will be subject to the terms of said agreement.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the President of the Board of Education is authorized to sign the agreement of behalf of the Board.

Instructional

• Heather Alvarez, who holds a Initial certificate in Childhood Education 1-6 and Initial  certificate in Literacy (Birth-6), be appointed as a part-time, non-tenure bearing position of 0.5 FTE Teacher in the Elementary tenure area, December 11, 2019 and ending June 30, 2019.  Salary at Level  MA, Step 1 of the salary schedule. 

 

Non-Instructional

• Madai Ramjeet,the probationary appointment to a 2.0 hours/day position of School Monitor, effective December 11, 2019, salary as per contract (pro-rated). 
• Christine Day, probationary appointment to a 6.0 hours/day position of School Monitor, effective December 12, 2019, salary as per contract (pro-rated). 

 

Instructional

Remedial After School Program – Regents Boot Camp                   

Board approval the temporary appointment of the following instructional staff for 2.5 hours/day, Monday – Thursday (2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m), for Regents Boot Camp at Pine Bush High School in the 2019-2020 school year, effective Monday, January 6, 2020, through Thursday, January 16, 2020, salary at the rate of $35/hour.

Board approval for the appointment of the following individuals as per diem substitutes effective December 11, 2019 at board approved per diem substitutes rates:

*Such appointment is conditioned upon the District’s receipt of clearance for employment from the N.Y. The emergency conditional segments of the appointments shall commence as of December 11, 2019 and shall not exceed twenty (20) business days.

Change in Title

Non-Instructional

Board approval of a change the title for Jennifer Byrne from the position of Typist to Principal Clerk, effective December 11, 2019 noting there is no change in salary. Ms. Byrne is eligible for such appointment through the Orange County Department of Personnel.
