A rousing good-bye to the fifth-grade class at CES – and Mrs. Eller!

One of the wonderful end-of-year traditions at Circleville Elementary School is the fifth-grade clap-out. On the last day of school, all students and staff make two lines, creating a space for the fifth-grade students to walk through. The onlookers then cheer and clap as the departing fifth grade students parade through, waving and high-fiving along the way!

A line of fifth-grade kids walk on grass, with a beautiful blue sky above. On either side of them are kids clapping.

This year was extra special as Laurie Eller led the parade! Laurie has been an employee with the district for more than 30 years and is retiring! We wish her the very best in retirement. We will miss you!

A parade of fifth grade kids follow a woman who is wearing a big gold crown nwith silver stars on it and a sash. They are high fiving other kids that have lined a path for them.

It is a fun tribute to the students moving on to middle school!

Clap-out fifth-graders!! Do your best in middle school!
