A winter theme makes learning fun

PAK teachers recently hosted a winter wonderland where students had some fun indoor wintry activities while doing math, spelling, matching and much more!

A blue mat is on the floor with white patches that have letters on them. A woman stands next to it as an elementary age girl has her feet on two different white patches. There are two other students behind her waiting for their turn.

They matched math facts with paper snow shoes on and hopped on letters and had to come up with words that start or end with those letters – like qu, ck, ch, z, and many others. They built a kindness “snowman” and played winter bingo.

Two elementary students stand at a wall that is covered in white fabric. In red letters at the top it says Do you want to build a snowman. One of the students in front of it is putting a white paper snowball on the tree.

It was a fun day filled with so much learning!

A woman wearing a peach colored sweater, her hair pulled up, sits at a table with five elementary students. They are playing bingo with pictures of winter items.
