Three Pine Bush schools were identified by the New York State Education Department as schools in need of improvement for certain subgroups of students as a result of our 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 assessment results. They are: Circleville Middle School, Crispell Middle School and Edward J. Russell Elementary School.
The schools were each required to create a comprehensive education plan; the district was required to create a comprehensive improvement plan to address these achievement gaps.
The district collected and analyzed its data. Stakeholder groups, including administrators, staff and community members, set priorities and created an action plan to address root causes. The plans include priorities, key strategies and resources, and how success will be measured.
The plans fall in line with our 2022-2023 board of education goals.
