The objective of summer reading for the students is to assist them in cultivating skills that have been built upon throughout their academic year. It is the hope that reading will strengthen and reinforce those skills that are vital to all aspects of academics and beyond.
Reading should be an enjoyable experience, so we encourage students to choose a book that interests them to read over the summer.
During the first week of school, teachers will review the assignment to be based on your summer reading and the exact due date for that project.
