Due Date: Friday, September 12, 2025

Assignment Overview: This summer, you have the opportunity to earn extra credit by reading one book of your choice and completing a tissue box book project. Reading something you enjoy is a great way to stay sharp over the summer—plus, this is an easy way to boost your grade!

Tissue Box Book Project: You will creatively present your understanding of the book by decorating and labeling all four sides of a tissue box, with each side focusing on a different aspect of the book:

SIDE 1: VISUAL IMAGE

  • A visual image representing something from the book with one sentence explaining the image and how it connects to the book

SIDE 3: THEME OR LESSON LEARNED

  • What was the overall theme of the book? What life lesson can be learned? Explain.
  • Minimum 5 sentences

SIDE 4: IMPORTANT QUOTES

  • What are three meaningful quotes from the book? Include the page number for each
