The Pine Bush Board of Education accepted the resignation of Superintendent Brian Dunn Tuesday night, effective at the end of day June 30, 2024.
The board appointed Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Amy Brockner acting superintendent of Pine Bush Schools, commencing July 1, 2024.
Mrs. Brockner has been assistant superintendent for instruction for the past four years. She has also served the district as a teacher, assistant principal and was the principal of Circleville Elementary School for six years before moving to district office.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our district as its acting superintendent and help guide us into our next school year,” said Mrs. Brockner. “I look forward to celebrating our Class of 2024 on Thursday evening, as well as continuing to prepare for the 2024-2025 school year. Providing our students with the best opportunities to achieve their personal success is always our purpose. At Pine Bush, we are ‘One Team, One Mission’.”
