Pine Bush High School has begun taking applications for parking permits for the 2024-2025 school year. Parking privileges will be assigned to seniors in good standing.
It is important to clarify Pine Bush High School’s regulations and expectations regarding student parking. The hope is that by presenting this now, we will be able to prevent issues in the future.
Pine Bush High School’s parking regulations are as follows:
1. All cars on campus must be registered and receive an assigned parking permit from the attendance office.
2. Only students with permits will be allowed to park in the student parking lot.
3. Parking permits must be clearly displayed (rearview mirror).
4. Parking permits are non-transferable.
5. Safe and courteous driving is expected in the parking lots and on school grounds.
6. Parking permits may be revoked for violations of the Pine Bush Central School District’s Code of Conduct.
7. All changes to vehicle information, temporary or otherwise, require approval from the attendance office.
8. Students must adhere to all New York State and local traffic laws. Students are subject to all New York State and local penalties to park in designated area.
9. Violations of any of these rules may result in loss of parking privileges and disciplinary action as follows:
- Warning placed on car
- Warning in the office
- Suspension from school
As previously stated, by making these rules and expectations explicit, we are hoping to prevent any problems in the future.
