Banking pros share expertise with PBHS business classes

Heritage Financial Credit Union had two presenters come to speak to Kyle Schneider’s Banking and Credit classes at Pine Bush High School recently.

A photo taken from the back of a classroom. There are two adults presenting at the front of the class on a screen with students sitting at desks.

The presenters explained all about their credit union, the benefits of a credit union, as well as how to budget. They discussed topics that are covered in depth in Mr. Schneider’s classes such as differences between banks, credit, credit scores, budgeting, and fraud prevention.

It was a great experience for our business class students to hear from professionals in the field of banking. Heritage Financial Credit Union was also nice enough bring some swag for the students – drawstring bags with all sorts of giveaways inside.

A gray string bag with the words Heritage Financial Credit Union on it. Also, sitting on it is a pen.

A big thank you to our local business partners for sharing with our students.
