Recommend the Board of Education approve the following resolution:

Be it resolved that the Board of Education hereby temporarily establishes 16 six hour Teaching Assistant positions for the period of April 12, 2021 to June 25, 2021; and

Be it further resolved that the Superintendent of Schools shall temporarily recall Teaching Assistants from the Preferred Eligibility List in order of seniority to fill these temporary positions; and

Be it further resolved that effective June 25, 2021, such positions shall be eliminated and the Teaching Assistants appointed to these positions shall be placed back on the Preferred Eligibility List.

  • Table Inspectors: $225/day
  • Chief Inspectors (a.k.a. Poll Site Coordinator) and Machine Inspectors: $250/day
  • Pre-Vote Mtgs./Site Attendant: Minimum Wage
  • District-wide Machine Technician /Consultant. (As per agreed upon services on file with the district clerk)

Day of election polls are open from 6 AM to 9 PM, therefore, those working arrive between 5:15 AM and 5:30 AM and work until close/completion.
