Resignations

Instructional

Shaun Lancaster, resignation from his position as a 5 hours/day Teaching Assistant, effective at the close of business December 21,2018 .  

Margaret Tucker, resignation from her position as a  0.5 FTE Secondary Home Economics Teacher, effective at the close of business January 25, 2019.

Christopher Moll, resignation from his position as a 1.00 FTE Teacher-Special Education, effective at the close of business January 20,2019.

Leave of Absence

Non-Instructional

Lisa Caputo, request for an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a 3.0 hours/day School Monitor, effective Jan. 2, 2019 through Feb. 11, 2019.  

Appointments

Instructional

Angela Kruger, who holds a Teaching Assistant Level I Certificate, be appointed on probation to a 6.5 hours/day, Teaching Assistant position, effective January 9, 2019 at an annual salary as per contract (pro-rated).

Non-Instructional

Jeanmarie Zawojski, increase in hours from 5.5 hours/day to a 6.5 hours/day, in her part-time School Monitor position, effective January 9, 2019 at an annual salary as per contract (pro-rated).

James Pritt, probationary appointment to a 3.0 hours/day Food Service Helper position, effective January 09, 2019, salary as per contract (pro-rated).

Theresa Wright, probationary appointment to a 3.0 hours/day Food Service Helper position, effective January 09, 2019, salary as per contract (pro-rated).

Remedial After School Program – Regents Boot Camp / Physical Education

Board approval for the temporary appointment of the following instructional staff for (shared position) .75 hours/day, Monday – Thursday (2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m), for Regents Boot Camp at Pine Bush High School in the 2018-2019 school year, effective January 7 – 17, 2019  salary as per contract / rate of $35/hour:

Recommend the Board of Education approve the amended established hourly rate of pay for substitutes in the Pine Bush Central School, effective December 31, 2018  for the 2018-2019 school year as follows:

  • Teaching Assistant  – Minimum Wage/hour
  • School Monitor – Minimum Wage/hour  
  • Custodial  – Minimum Wage/hour
  • Clerical/Dist. Office  – Minimum Wage/hour
  • Cafeteria – Minimum Wage/hour
  • Security $14.48/hour

(Note: The current minimum wage is $11.10)
