ADDITION TO THE CONSENT AGENDA

Recommend the Board of Education approve the following addition to the Consent Agenda as submitted by the Superintendent of Schools:

Resignation

Recommend the Board of Education accept the resignation of Rebecca Santopietro from her position as a .4 FTE Physical Therapy Assistant effective July 26, 2021.

 

Appointments

Instructional

Recommend that William Losier, who hold an Emergency Covid certificate in Music, be appointed to the probationary position of a 1.0 FTE Teacher in the tenure area of Music for a four year probationary period commencing August 30, 2021 and ending August 29, 2025. Salary MA Step 6 of the salary schedule.
Be it further resolved that, to the extent applicable under Education Law Section 3012-d and the accompanying Commissioner’s Regulations, in order to be considered for tenure, William Losier must have received an APPR
rating of effective or highly effective in three of the four probationary years and must not receive an ineffective in the fourth year.

Recommend that Kathleen Scully, who holds a Permanent certificate in Nursery, Kindergarten and Grades 1-6, be appointed to the probationary position of a 1.0 FTE Teacher in the tenure area of Elementary for a four year probationary period commencing August 30, 2021 and ending August 29, 2025. Salary MA Step 6 of the salary schedule.
