II. Student Recognition

  • Odyssey of the Mind Students
  •  Fall 2 Scholar Athletes

The Board of Education will recognize all Odyssey of the Mind student participation in the Regional, New York State, and World Competitions. This year’s Coordinator for Odyssey of the Mind was Lori Stapleton. All 2020-2021 teams will be recognized for their accomplishments.  ON WEBSITE

The Board of Education will be asked to recognize our Fall 2 student athletes for their outstanding accomplishment of maintaining a grade point average of 90 and above during Fall 2 athletic season.

Superintendent Tim Mains will introduce Michael Gillespie, Director of Physical Education, Health, and Athletics to recognize the Fall 2 sport athletes being recognized: ON WEBSITE

III. Approval of Minutes

The Board of Education will be asked to approve the minutes from the regular meeting of June 8, 2021 as submitted by the District Clerk.

IV. Reports, Recommendations of the Superintendent

1. Consent Agenda

Recommend the Board of Education approve the following revised Consent Agenda as submitted by the Superintendent of Schools: ON WEBSITE

2. Approval CSE/CPSE Placement Recommendations

Recommend the Board of Education approve all IEPs of the Committee on Special Education and the Committee on Preschool Special Education as submitted by the CSE and CPSE Chairpersons and reviewed by Trustee Johnson.

3. Approval of Student Athletic Participation/ Inter-Municipal Agreement Monticello CSD

The Board of Education will be asked to approve the following resolution for adoption:

RESOLVED, that the Board of Education hereby approves the Inter-Municipal Agreement with the Monticello Central School District (“Agreement”) related to a student’s (#062221) participation with the Girls Swim/Diving Team for the Fall 2021 season.

4. Approval of the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan

Recommend that the Board of Education approve the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan.

5. Return to Learn Fall 2021 Update

Superintendent Mains will present on Return to Learn Fall 2021.

6. Presentation on Additional State and Federal Aid

 Assistant Superintendent for Business, Michael Pacella will present on Additional State and Federal Aid.

7. Capital Improvement Plan Update

Terry Damon from AD Planning will present on the Capital Improvement Plan.
