Each year, the top 30 students of the graduating class of Pine Bush High School are honored at a special ceremony. Kindergarten students at PBE enjoyed learning about seeds and plants, bees and composting at the Orange County Arboretum. Students were able to view a beehive up close with a beekeeper while others viewed red composting worms at the composting bins. Pine Bush High School Counseling Department held its awards for juniors recently, providing awards and scholarships from various colleges and universities. The students in the Life Skills class at Crispell were able to experience looking closely at what organs look like inside a frog. Michele Smith teamed up with Alexis Darro to teach a frog dissection lesson, one in which the students were able to participate! This was a wonderful science activity and lesson. …
