Celebrating literacy and spirt at CES all week

CES is celebrating literacy and school spirit all week long! March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday and it’s also Read Across America Day.

CES has lots on tap for the week, including Wacky Wednesday on March 2. Everyone can be silly and wear their clothes backwards, inside out or mismatched.

Thursday is Fox in Sox day where everyone is encouraged to wear crazy or mismatched socks. Friday ends the week with The Sleep Book and comfy cozy clothes or pajamas.

A large glass case on the wall filled with Dr. Seuss books and photos. In front, squating down, is a little boy with a red and white top hate on and a shirt that says Thing 1. Next to him is a woman dressed as the cat in the hat. Both have black masks on.

Getting everyone prepared and excited for Read Across America Literacy Spirit week was Mrs. James, who created this beautiful showcase for all to enjoy.

Happy reading!
