UPDATE, Saturday, June 10: The CES student who was struck by a school bus on Friday afternoon was treated at a local hospital for bruising and scrapes, but no serious injuries. The student was released from the hospital on Friday evening and is at home with their family. We are so grateful and wish a very speedy recovery.

On Friday afternoon, June 9, a Birnie bus that originated from Circleville Elementary School struck a student who had just exited the bus.

Emergency responders were on the scene quickly as were school district personnel. The injuries to the student are unclear at this time but the student was taken to an area hospital to be assessed.
