It was a proud day at Circleville Elementary School on Thursday, June 14, as 95 fifth graders were cheered on by their families, friends, teachers and administrators as they completed their elementary education and moved up to Circleville Middle School.
Principal Amy Brockner and Assistant Principal Joseph Prestianni praised this group for their achievements not only for the current school year but in their careers at CES. Students were recognized for outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, as well as for their character accomplishments.
Superintendent Tim Mains congratulated the students and wished them well on their next adventure to the middle school. He reminded parents that this is the Pine Bush High School class of 2025 and those years will fly by. He also spoke to the students about becoming middle school students, urging them to continue growing in their academics and interests and to stay true to themselves.
The students received their certificates from their principal and assistant principal, and were congratulated by Mr. Mains, Assistant Superintendents Donna Geidel and Mike Pacella, and board of education member Kristi Kheiralla, along with their teachers. Then the students took a special pledge to finish high school and go on to college, work or the military.
After the ceremony, the PTA provided refreshments for all.
Congratulations to the Circleville Elementary School fifth graders!
