And that’s a wrap! Pine Bush High School Class of 2021 gained eight new graduates on Thursday, Aug. 12, as these seniors completed their course of study and received their high school diplomas with family and friends in attendance.
Kayana Blair, Haylee Deligny, Giselle Gonzalez, Alexandra Miller, Briana Payne, Isabelle Saint Louis and Melania Stokes marched into the tent at Crispell Middle School Thursday morning, wearing their gold caps and gowns, where their family and friends waited, along with district and high school staff and board of education members.
A shout out to Frank Cassidy who also graduated.
“You showed up and got it done,” said Pine Bush Board of Education President Gretchen Meier. “This shows how strong every one of you are. Your future is wide open.”
Superintendent of Schools Tim Mains echoed the importance of this accomplishment.
“You have earned the keys to the kingdom,” he said, noting how important a high school diploma is to one’s future. “You have earned this and this diploma will take you where you want to go. Everything you do is possible because of your diploma.”
Mr. Mains and Pine Bush High School Principal Aaron Hopmayer let all of the new graduates know that they are always a part of the Pine Bush family.
“Come back and let us know how you are doing,” said Hopmayer. “You are always welcome here.”
