Crispell students in Allie White’s Students Making a Difference Club and members of Robin Evans’ select choir spread some holiday cheer Thursday, to residents young and young at heart.
Dressed in the holiday spirit with colorful antlers and wide smiles, they made two stops – Over the Moon Nursery School and Pine Crest Senior Center.
First stop was with the young kids at Over the Moon. Our students sang a range of songs for the children, who sat at their outdoor classroom listening and singing along! Some danced around and shrieked with excitement when they recognized a song – like Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!
The Crispell students had another surprise for the students – they presented the teachers at Over the Moon with packets of craft materials so that the pre-schoolers can make a holiday craft.
After the sing-along, the little ones lined up to give high fives to all of the Crispell students who came to entertain.
Then it was on to the Pine Crest Senior Center. Again, the students sang outdoors for those at the center who came out to enjoy the entertainment. Students also gave them holiday cards, wishing them well now and in the new year. The folks at the center truly enjoyed the students coming to share their talents with them.
