Circleville Middle School was well represented at the 41st annual Orange County Executive’s Youth and Adult Awards held on Thursday, June 8. School social worker Dawn Dorcas and seven incredible students – Symone Davis, Nevan Stelmaszyk, Madison Burtchell, Julianna Brown, Jeremiah Franco, Makai Garnere, Saoirse Lalli and Robert Hernandez – received awards.
“We are thrilled with the number of outstanding CVMS students and our amazing school social worker, Dawn Dorcas, being nominated by our awesome teachers and recognized for all their accomplishments from Orange County Executive, Mr. Steven Neuhaus, in collaboration with the Orange County Youth Bureau and the Orange County Youth Advisory Board,” said Principal Lisa Hankinson. “It was an honor to be with our teachers who nominated our recipients, CVMS families and friends, and of course, our student and staff recipients during this awesome celebration.”
