Edward J Russell (EJR) is a Pre-K to fifth grade elementary school with just under 600 students.  EJR is located within the hamlet of Pine Bush, New York.

EJR welcomes a diverse and creative student population from families committed to their children’s education.  EJR’s faculty and staff are dedicated to high quality teaching and learning and the development of the whole child.

The EJR school community has an active PTA which provides many programs and activities for students and their families.

At EJR, students engage in reading and writing across the curriculum and participate in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM)  as well.  Students also participate in the Unified Arts such as physical education, art, music and library as a part of their well-rounded educational experience.
