Students in Megan Collins and Laura Bronson’s second grade class at EJR are authors! And they celebrated that fact by sharing their informational writings with each other and their families.

 

Each of these curious kids chose an occupation, did deep research about it and then wrote their book about it. They invited their parents/guardians and siblings to a writer’s tea in their classroom where they dressed the part and read their books.

 

 

There was a construction worker, hairdresser, veterinarian, pharmacist, police officer, firefighter, even a chef!

The students were very supportive of each other too. Great job to all!
