Five-day meal boxes available for all children 18 and under Aug. 7, 14, 21

Five-day meal boxes will be available for pick-up through the Pine Bush Central School District School Nutrition Department in August for all children age 18 and under.

Five complete breakfast and lunches will be available to pick up for children age 18 and under. Sign up using the link or QR code below. Free for all kids age 18 and under. Sample meal box: whole grain cereal bowls and cereal bars, loaf of sandwich break or English muffins. 1/2 dozen fresh eggs 6 oz of cheese. 1/2 gallon of 1 percent mild and 1 pint of lowfat chocolate milk. Fresh local produce box to include items like peaches strawberries, tomatoes, carrots and cucumbers.

 

Meal boxes will include a variety of fresh seasonal produce, bread, cereal and cereal bars, milk, peanut butter or eggs, and cheese.

In order to sign up for the boxes, submit this Google form  by the Friday before each pick-up date to ensure availability. Availability without signing up in advance is not guaranteed.

Pick-up information:

Dates: Wednesdays, Aug. 7, 14, and 21

Time: 4 – 6 p.m.    

Location: Pine Bush High School

 

When picking up meals, come to Pine Bush High School and park in the front  of the building, on the district office side. Follow the signs for pick-up. Adults may only pick up meals for children in their own household.

This is a great opportunity to help Pine Bush families cut back on their grocery/snack costs for much of the month of August.
