I wanted to share a quick notice about an opportunity we are making available to our students and families. After all we have been through these past few months, there was a keen interest among our staff to get some Pine Bush apparel that declared we are Pine Bush STRONG! Our Athletic Director, Mike Gillespie, worked with one of our apparel vendors to design apparel that incorporates our new student-designed district logo sitting atop the word “STRONG” in all capital letters. We are extending the opportunity to all of you to shop for these items as well.  We have reopened the store to accommodate any interest you may have and to give our staff a second chance to order as well.  You can find the link here.  It’s at the very top of the district website.

If you choose to buy something from the store, you will input your payment for the order right on the site and the items will be shipped directly to you. The store will be open all this week and it will close on Monday, July 20.

I’m proud of what everybody – staff, students, and parents – did to get through the last several months during our all-virtual learning. We are already busy unpacking the surveys you completed last week to help us with our planning for September. Our Return to Learn teams are busy working on what the fall might look like, and we expect to have a plan rolled out to you by the end of this month or by very early in August. We had a very healthy response to all three surveys, so thank you for that. We believe we have a good representation of your thoughts and ideas. That should help us design a Return to Learn Plan that reflects Pine Bush interests and values.

Don’t forget to visit the PB STRONG store, if you have an interest in purchasing any of those t-shirts or sweatshirts by the end of this coming week.
