The holiday season is approaching quickly! As it does, we are reaching out to our Pine Bush families in need as well as those who wish to contribute to make the holidays easier for others.
If your family is in need for Thanksgiving or the holiday season, we have a team of staff members looking to support you (see below).
Please note: We are asking all families to contact a team member by Tuesday, Nov. 15. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
Additionally, the district is holding a gift card drive to support our families. Gift cards may be dropped off to the attention of our holiday assistance team at any of our buildings, mailed to the district, or dropped off at the district office.

For those looking to contribute
The Pine Bush Central School District community – this includes parents, grandparents, students and staff – has always been generous to our fellow residents in need during our food and toy drives. For many of our families, the celebration of Thanksgiving and all of the winter holidays will be made more difficult due to financial hardship. The number of our families facing this hardship is growing.
This year, we are asking for that same generosity and kindness that we as a community have shown and can rely on. We are asking our Pine Bush family to donate gift cards of any amount from the following stores:
- ShopRite
- Hannaford
- Walmart
- Target
- Sam’s Club
- Aldi
After purchasing the cards, you may send them to us in any of these three ways:
- send them to school with your child;
- mail them to Pine Bush Central School District, c/o Holiday Gift Card Drive, PO Box 700, Pine Bush NY 12566;
- drop them at the district office, the small wood building next to Pine Bush High School, at 156 Route 302.
We are PB Strong
Thank you in advance to our Pine Bush community and local businesses for your generosity and kindness. As times continue to be trying, let’s come together to make it a better holiday season for our Pine Bush families.
