We are excited to announce that we will be inviting our hybrid students in grades 7-12 back into our school buildings beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10 (which will be an “A” day).
Students who have signed up for hybrid learning will learn virtually from home for three days per week (including Mobile Mondays for all) and attend classes in our schools two days per week. Students have been assigned a group letter, “A” or “B”, that will determine their schedule.
The district has made every effort to ensure that siblings from the same households are attending school on the same days. If there is a discrepancy when your child is assigned their letter, please email the school counselor AND the principal so this can be rectified.
All three schools determined virtual or hybrid placements based on student/parent survey feedback Requests to change the choice from hybrid to all virtual can still be made by emailing the counselors and principals. Parents will get phone calls the week of Nov. 2 regarding bus numbers and approximate pick up and drop off times. CTEC students will also be contacted regarding a change in their bus routines.
Snow Days
On a separate note, we wanted to notify all of you that in the event that a snow day is called to close school due to inclement weather, we will not be having virtual learning on those days. We have five snow days already built into the calendar. Only if we exceed 5 snow days will be have virtual learning on snow days.
