It’s Love and Kindness Week at PBHS

The Youth Empowerment and Sustainability Skills class is working to make Pine Bush High School more loving and kind this week. They are celebrating Love and Kindness Week!

Each day there will be special activities for students during their lunch break, like face painting, positive affirmations, candy giveaways, a “love scavenger hunt,” and a candy gram distribution .

And there is a theme for each day – some will be quite interesting.

  • Monday, Feb. 14 – Wear red, white and/or pink
  • Tuesday, Feb. 15 – Wear anything but a backpack
  • Wednesday, Feb. 16 – Wear rainbow
  • Thursday, Feb. 17 – Dynamic Duo day – dress the same as a friend
  • Friday, Feb. 18 – Cozy, comfy day

The students in the class were busy writing valentines for all teachers in the school!

A high school student dressed in a cream colored sweater, wearing glasses, a mask and hair covering, sits at a table and writes out Valentines cards.

Just a heads up – Thursday is also National Random Acts of Kindness Day. Be prepared to spread kindness in all sorts of ways!

A group of high school students stand around a black table holding small Valentines cards in their hands. Some are writing on them and others are handing them out.
