Let’s celebrate 100 days of school!

Wow! One hundred days!

Our elementary schools celebrated 100 days of the 2020-2021 school year this week on Wednesday, Feb. 24 – and Thursday, Feb. 25 for the students who attend school on Tuesday/Thursday – with lots of counting and reading and, well, just focusing on the number 100. Some students even dressed up as 100-year-old people!Three elementary school kids dressed as 100 year old people. Boy has a cane, bow tie and jacket. Two girls have wigs with curlers in their hair, wearing sweaters and pearls.

It is certainly a milestone to celebrate, especially this year when students, teachers, support staff and parents are working extra hard in very different circumstances. Our students are now 100 days smarter, 100 days brighter.

Yes, let’s celebrate!
