Dear PB Colleagues,

For everyone

Donna Geidel sent an email this morning at 7:57 a.m . Anyone who plans to come to school tomorrow MUST read that email. It links to a document with specific times that staff can access the buildings on Tuesday to pick up their personal belongings, teacher Chromebooks and other lesson planning resources/materials.  You must stick to this staggered schedule in order to ensure “social distancing”.

Preparing Instructional activities  for Teachers/Support Staff (not SRP’s)

• Please check your emails for a detailed message from your principal that outlines the expectations for developing learning activities for your students over the next two weeks.  The first learning activity should be posted by Thursday, March 18 by 9 a.m. in the morning.  You may collaborate with your grade level/department peers via online or phone.  A total of 10 learning activities should be posted by Friday, March 27.  
• Grades 6-12 should produce some documents that can be copied at the copy center so we can have parents pick up packets if they don’t have internet access.  These packets can be basic review packets and don’t have to mirror the lessons in Google classroom.  Teachers will need to email them to Cindy Gloster for copying.  Be sure to label your packet with a cover page that identifies your name and the course.  Department chairs will need to let Donna Giedel know when they will be ready for distribution.  
• Grades PK-5-packets have already been copied and will be ready to distribute by Wednesday, March 18.

These are chaotic times, but I have great confidence in our ability to focus our collaborative commitment to supporting our kids and our community.  I suspect there will be volunteer opportunities in the course of this crisis, and once we have identified some of them, I will share that information as well.  I want you and yours to be safe as we travel through this emergency together.
