Dear Pine Bush parents and staff,
By now I hope everyone knows that June 9 is the new date for our school elections, and that this year, you can only vote by absentee ballot.
I’m calling tonight to let you know that our ballot producer, NTS, has informed us that ballots are now in the mail for everyone who was already registered to vote. If you are eligible but not registered, you can go to our website to complete the Absentee Ballot Request Form. You can find it in two places – either in the “News and Announcements” section on our home page or in the “Board of Education” tab under the “Voter Information” section.
As I said before, if you are already registered, you don’t have to do a thing; just fill it out when it arrives and mail it back. You want to be sure that it is mailed early enough to arrive by 5 p.m. on June 9 in order for it to be counted. Ballots received after that will be invalid.
In case you haven’t been following all of the details about our budget proposal for next year, our spring newsletter also went out in the mail today. It is filled with information about the budget and about the three candidates who are running for two seats on our Pine Bush Board of Education.
We want to make sure everyone takes time to be informed so that they can vote in this very different kind of election.
Have a great evening,
Tim O. Mains, Pine Bush Superintendent
