One hundred was the magic number on Wednesday, Feb. 19, as elementary students around the district celebrated the 100th day of school.

Kindergarten students at Pakanasink dressed the part for the 100th day of school. Lots of gray hair, glasses, pearls and canes were evident in Heather Stelmaszyk and Tara Bacellos’s classes.

The students had a day filled with activities focused on the magic number 100. They discussed “When I’m 100,” used 100 cups to build things, colored 100 items, found 100 Hershey’s kisses and made necklaces out of 100 Fruit Loops.
