One hundred days and counting!

One hundred was the magic number on Wednesday, Feb. 19, as elementary students around the district celebrated the 100th day of school.

A class of 27 kindergarten children sit and stand in three rows. Many are dressed as 100-year-old people. Five adults stand behind them.
Heather Stelmaszyk and Tara Bacellos’s kindergarten classes dressed the part to celebrate the 100th day of school.

Kindergarten students at Pakanasink dressed the part for the 100th day of school. Lots of gray hair, glasses, pearls and canes were evident in Heather Stelmaszyk and Tara Bacellos’s classes.

Three kindergarten students are dressed as old people. One boy in the center and two girls on either side..
Luna Gallo, Jaden Pearson and Gianna Rowe imagine how they will look in about 95 years.

The students had a day filled with activities focused on the magic number 100. They discussed “When I’m 100,” used 100 cups to build things, colored 100 items, found 100 Hershey’s kisses and made necklaces out of 100 Fruit Loops.
