Our elementary schools celebrated 100 days of the 2020-2021 school year on Wednesday, Feb. 24 – and Thursday, Feb. 25 for the students who attend school on Tuesday/Thursday – with lots of counting and reading and, well, just focusing on the number 100.
At CES, there was lots of counting going on, both for in-person learners as well as those learning remotely. For example, take a look at 100 stuffed animals, 100 pieces of fruity cereal, 100 pushpins and 100 Legos! Our students had some fun showing us just what 100 looks like.
It is certainly a milestone to celebrate, especially this year when students, teachers, support staff and parents are working extra hard in very different circumstances. Our students are now 100 days smarter, 100 days brighter. And counting!
