Our budding authors debut their small moments narratives to a very appreciative and proud audience

Students in Lisa Quick’s and Maria Gabrell’s fourth-grade classes at Circleville Elementary had a big day recently!

A fourth-grade girl, wearing a green lacrosse uniform with the number 55 and holding a lacrosse stick, stands and reads from the book she wrote.

A fourth-grade boy, wearing a black shirt and glasses, stands and reads from his book he wrote.

The teachers hosted an author celebration so that their budding authors could share their published small moment narratives with an audience.

A classroom setting with many adults sitting in chairs, watching a woman at the front of the room talk and write on a large board.

Their proud parents showed up for the readings and all students had the opportunity to read their story to the audience. What a wonderful experience for them and a proud moment for their parents.

A group of 17 fourth-grade students gathered around their teacher who is sitting. They are all holding the books they've created.
