Proud parents and friends filed into Circleville Middle School on Monday, June 18, with excitement and pride as their fifth graders from Pakanasink Elementary School prepared to walk across the stage, ending one chapter of their education to begin another at this very middle school.
Principal Brian Breheny and Assistant Principal Colleen Delles commended this group for their academic and extracurricular achievements not only for the current school year but in their careers at PAK. Students stood to be recognized for their accomplishments as their names were announced. Special awards were given to students for outstanding character.
Superintendent Tim Mains congratulated the students and wished them well on their next chapter in the middle school. He reminded parents that this is the Pine Bush High School class of 2025 and those years will fly by. He also spoke to the students about becoming middle school students, urging them to continue growing in their academics and interests and to stay true to themselves.
The students received their certificates from their principal and assistant principal, and were congratulated by Mr. Mains, Assistant Superintendents Donna Geidel and Mike Pacella, and board of education member Kristi Kheiralla, along with their teachers.
After the certificates were given, a highlight of the morning was the slideshow that brought everyone back through their children’s years at Pakanasink.
A hearty congratulations to the former fifth graders at Pakanasink Elementary School!
